Six of the 10 counties with the largest population gains this decade were in Texas - Harris, Tarrant, Bexar, Dallas, Collin, and Travis. The statistics provide population estimates and components of change for the nation’s metropolitan statistical areas, micropolitan statistical areas and 3, counties.

Among the nation’s counties, the top 10 with the largest numeric gains since are all. The Texas Population Estimates Program produces annual estimates of the total populations of counties and places in the state and estimates of county populations by age, sex, and race/ethnicity.

Estimated Population of Texas, Its Counties, and Places. The statistics released today provide population estimates, rankings and components of change for the nation’s metropolitan statistical areas, micropolitan statistical areas, and 3, counties, as well as population estimates and rankings for Puerto Rico’s 78 municipios.

This data release completes the full set of population estimates from the Texas Demographic Center. You can find the latest estimates with demographic detail for the state and its counties plus estimates by place, metropolitan statistical area, and councils of governments on.
